I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I feel I should mention a few things. The area was nice and quiet, and parking was convenient. However, the room could have been cleaner—there was mould on the shower tiles (which I could wipe off), the bathroom drain had hair, and the blanket was old and stained.

The AC unit had dust gathering on the vents, it was concerning since I was using it to get warm air into the room. Part of the curtain was off the hooks as well. When coming in for the first time to use their/my room toilet, the flush button was sat out of where it's supposed to sit so I had to put it back in. The hairdryer and jug were old and marked. I will say they did work alright but not what I was expecting when coming here. I should have addressed it sooner to staff since I was staying 3 nights, but at the time I was just wanting a sweet and easy holiday since it's been a while for me. The staff were very lovely and appreciated their time. Parking was also very convenient.

We traveled from Auckland to Taupo and stayed here for 5 days Amazing service from the staff very friendly and catered to our every needs, room was cleaned and restocked daily which was very nice also loved the electric blankets and jumping into a nice cozy warm bed after a nice warm shower from a very bizi day and sight seeing. Very quiet place to stay the washing machines and dryers were very handy we came home with no dirty clothes at all. Kids wanted to play tennis but it ended up raining and u have to booke the hot tub which was also very nice too. Highly recommend will definately be back there ti stay again.

Were looking forward to a good nights rest after driving from the south island. We got no sleep at all due to a noise (we were in room 102) coming from outside. Sounded like a very loud jug was boiling all night. They had a problem with water leaking off the roof. Their idea of an apology was a simple "oh sorry about that". Didn't make us feel very much better in the morning when we were really tired and grumpy. Didn't stay for breakfast. Couldn't get out of there quicker.
