Great stay in Taormina

Great hotel in an amazing hillside setting in Taormina. Most rooms have sea views which are incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable with an exterior balcony. Great breakfast. Easy 15 minute walk to the heart of the old town. The parking is limited so we would advise making arrangements with the hotel before arriving to make sure that space is reserved. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here just as much,if not more than the first time we stayed here!! All our needs were well attended to by their excellent staff. Parking was very convenient and safe. Daily breakfast selection was wonderful and varied each day!! Spectacular views from dining areas and from our room balcony of the sea, coastline and MT. Etna. Beautiful flowers everywhere. I will definitely stay here the next time we visit Taormina. The location is perfect, close to shopping and restaurants and cafes. The staff made excellent recommendations for dining in the evening and were able to secure reservations for us which was important. This hotel is perfect for restful nights! Thank you Bel Soggiorno for wonderful memories and an amazing stay!

The only thing that was difficult was the walk to the town center. It’s vertical steps and QUITE a bit. Other wise great location. Any one with any walking difficulties you might not want to stay here. Also excellent breakfast!!! We loved it!!! Highly recommend it!!! If we go back definitely would stay again.

What a view!!!!!

The amazing view from our room and the dining area in the hotel was SPECTACULAR. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was ideal - the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. I was able to park my car on-site as well. The room was spacious and clean. I would and will recommend Bel Soggiorno to friends traveling to Taormina for sure!

A great little spot, about a 10/15 min walk to the centre of Taormina, reception gave us the directions on arrival which are up some steps initially. We had a lovely sea view room with a terrace, table and chairs plus two loungers. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of options and served in great setting. Staff were very friendly. On-site parking was 25 euros per day. We liked the location as it was away from the centre.

Spectacular views and great location

Our stay was amazing and the hotel was very well located. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and very helpful!! The breakfast had a lot to choose from cold meats and cheeses, fruits and pastries. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel!!

This is just beautiful stately hotel with extraordinary panoramic views stretching from the sea to Mount Etna - the view from the terraces of the sun rising over the Ionian sea is awe inspiring and well worth loosing a few hours of sleep. The rooms are austere but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the grand dining room and terraces worthy of movie stars. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the center of Taormina, where by far the best granita and brioche in Sicily is served in the ever popular Bam Bar - it will cool you body and sooth your soul.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno is in a fantastic location, close to the center of Taormina with easy access to everything. However, our room was a bit disappointing. The photos online showed ocean views, but in reality, our balcony overlooked the elevator, which was moving up and down all the time—not a pleasant view. In addition, the lunch service was very slow, which took away from the overall experience. With some improvements, this hotel could be excellent.
