Had four nights at this hotel.The rooms with the sea view are fantastic.Rooms are clean and big.The breakfast is very good, staff helpful.Easy walk to the bus terminal and to Umberto street.Stairs to Isola Bella are not far either.The gardens are beautiful.

Remarkable hotel

What a jewel of a hotel, with a view of Taormina and the sea that is unmatched. The people who work there know they work in a special place and it shows with their pride. If you must have 5-star glitzy facilities, it is probably not for you but if you are looking for a small European-style hotel, it’s the best.

Fantastic setting. View of the coast, gardens, terraces. This makes it. We’d been on the move in Italy and when we got here we didn’t want to leave the hotel property, just stay all day. Breakfast outside on terrace is a highlight. Friendly staff very service oriented. Highly recommended.

Loved this vintage romantic hotel, my husband and I stayed for two nights in a room with shared terrace overlooking the sea and Mt. Etna. Absolutely incredible views. Delightful breakfast, charming decor and garden. Staff was kind enough to park our car for us so we didn’t have to navigate the steep, tight driveway. Highly recommend.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting than this hotel. Old world charm, ocean view rooms. Exceptional staff who treat you like royalty. It’s a 10 minute walk up hill to town of Taormina by an incredible public park. View of Mount Etna, the sea shore towns, and the sea. I would return in a minute! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. All homemade items, fantastic quiches, bruschetta and they cater to gluten free, dairy free and decaf drinks. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier here. Plus we met lovely fellow travelers there and took the local bus together up to Castlemola for a day’s outing. Recommend taking the Mount Etna tour and godfather tour too.

I loved this hotel - it is in the most beautiful spot and is such a pretty building and garden. Incredible views - and so charming - like stepping back in time. Price reflects the facilities - which are clean but a little basic - rooms very charming though and the terraces are stunning. Breakfast in the beautiful dining room is wonderful and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Location is good - as long as happy to go up a set of steps - you then have a beautiful walk through the gardens to get into town.

The views are magnificent but rooms and common areas were disappointing and need some care. Breakfast and drinks were very good. Front desk staff were unfriendly and not very welcoming. I had been communicating to arrange a ride from the train station (I was traveling with my 84 yr old mother) and was told early on to notify them 3 days ahead. When I did that I was told to get a cab. Confusing but not an issue until no cabs were available. When I called to let them know and get assistance, one desk person hung up on me. Very disappointing.
