1/5 — Read This Before You BookI ordered a porta potty for my daughter's college graduation party because every single toilet in this "large party ready" rental failed — and the owner blamed us for using toilet paper.We rented this home because it was advertised for large parties. Aesthetically, it delivered. That is where the positives end.On the day of the event, all four toilets became completely unusable. When we contacted the owner, we were told the problem was caused by guests flushing toilet paper. Let that sink in — standard toilet paper. Nothing in the listing, the welcome materials, or anywhere on the property warned us that the plumbing couldn't handle normal use.What followed ruined the afternoon. I dealt with three separate contractors, arranged an emergency porta potty for guests, and spent my daughter's graduation party making signs telling people to throw their toilet paper in the trash. No one should have to do that at a family celebration they paid good money for.VRBO was no help either.If you are thinking about booking this home for any kind of event, don't. The plumbing cannot handle a crowd, the owner never disclosed it, and no one took responsibility when it all fell apart.
