I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to the Tampa/Brandon area. Just 20 minutes to Ybor. The host is super-responsive, and lives nearby so can tackle any issues at speed. The balcony where we spent a lot of time looks right out over the canal, and there is a little dock where it looks like people can fish. The street is a dead-end so there is no problem with traffic. Conversely, there are some loud noises in the neighbourhood, train whistles, some industrial activity and, on one occasion (I think we were just unlucky) an evening concert in the field across the canal which drove us to the back of the house! But even the concert wrapped up around 9.30pm and none of the other noises disturbed us at night. The horizon is filled with a rather spectacular industrial plant which is particularly splendid at night. The accommodation is very spacious with open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are large TVs fitted on the walls of the living room and all three bedrooms. The main bedwroom, with ensuite, has a regular king. One bedroom is full of a remarkable double bed bunk and the other kind of a sideways double. All the beds are comfortable. There a couple of excellent bars on the other side of the Alafia, ten minutes' drive away, and the Apollo Beach commercial area is just 20 minutes off.
