Tamboerskloof hotels with parking

My review of Hotrl Verde, Cape Town: Rooms and suites are very clean; elegant with minimalist, timeless, decor. I have stayed in 3 styles, all were equally pleasing. Sheets, bedding and towels were bright white and laundry-fresh. Spotless with no hint of any previous occupants! Breakfast buffet has many choices from a healthy fresh fruit selection and rich, creamy Greek-style yogurt (which is amazing!) Lots of cereal and pastry choices to choose from. Omelet of your choice is made to order and takes just a few minutes. Plenty of meats; both cooked breakfast faves (sausage, bacon and savoury mince) with all the sides plus a fair selection of cold cuts, cheese and smoked salmon. There is an array of traditional South African fruit preserves. Very good fresh bread options. Three fruit juice choices, (personally recommend the guava juice!) A wide variety of teas and rich, brewed coffee rounds the meal off perfectly. Plates and cutlery are clean as and cleared away promptly between courses. There are no exaggerations here. I have stayed 3 times at Hotel Verde, and the buffet breakfast, clean environment and great service by friendly, helpful staff are some of the reasons why I will most definitely return. For Cape Town, the room rates are a little higher, however, it is very close to the airport and offers a free (every 30 mins) airport shuttle bus which for me is priceless, both for convenience and peace of mind. Great location for the Waterfront and car park very close which is free at a weekend. Room was very comfortable and staff all helpful and friendly.

Perfect location - St. George Mall, that is, the centre of the city. Helpful staff - we were leaving early in the morning, and - - they prepared for us a packed breakfast to take with, - they booked a taxi, and we paid for it by a credit card in the hotel, before leaving. Very good breakfast. Clean nice room, with good bed linen and two pillows - one firm and the other soft.

It was near the airport. That’s the good stuff. The room smelt of cigarette smoke.

Everything was great- staff were welcoming and helpful. I like the location- close to the Company Gardens, museums and interesting neighborhoods, all within easy walking distance. One thing we didn’t know at first- if you want plain old brewed coffee, ask for a pot of filtered coffee 🙃

The property looks clean however the elevator smells.
