Hospitable and helpful staff (Erick, Rudy, Alfred, Tiffany & others). Coffee offered at lobby. Clean room and spacious bathroom. Staff helped us get taxis. Simple but delicious breakfast (miso soup, congee, bread, fish, meats, vegetables, fruit, etc.) Area has variety of restaurants. Walkable to Ningxia Night Market.

Cleanliness of the room and its location. Tokyo International Hotel is a hidden gem.with a wonderful staff and accommodations. It’s situated in a perfect location full of shops and restaurants along with a mall within walking distance. The hotel might not have all the high end amenities, but the coziness of the hotel makes up for all of that.

Great place for both business and family travelers

We stayed for nine nights. Front desk is outstanding and tremendously helpful. The property is in the old part of town, and it's not easy to maintain in great shape. However, it was good overall. We had some issues with internet connectivity which were promptly and successfully dealt with. Location is fantastic for activities along the Red Line which is where most activities we wanted to see and do take place. We had zero issues with street noise or contiguous room noise. TV is horrible in quality of signal and type of programing but nobody should go to Taipei to watch TV at a hotel room anyways. In our next visit, we are definitely going back to this slice of Japan in the middle of Taipei!!!
