This is precious landmark hotel in Taipei just like a palace. The building is beautiful and magnificent. The room is quiet and comfortable. Bathroom has tub and separated shower room. If you do not have rental car, in order to go around in the city, you have to take hotel shuttle to go subway station. The shuttle runs daily every 20 minutes. I paid $25 for breakfast, food has good varieties, but taste is average.

We enjoy staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The views from the room balconies are great. Hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. The only thing that can be an issue is leaving the property if you don’t have a car. At times the queue for the shuttle is very long and you have to wait for the next shuttle. Same thing for taxi service…the queue can be long and/or there are no taxis available.

I love my experience at the Grand Hotel. The staff offered excellent services the entire time I was there. Room service was excellent and the food was delicious and cooked the way I wanted it. Lastly, my view from my room was superb and I enjoyed every moment. I will book again when I return.

Magnificent hotel with a Chinese old style design on a mountain. Good breakfast but is not included in the initial hotel payment. Not very far away from Metro station. The bedroom is big with living room and a big deck. However, it is a little bit noisy on the deck with the highway and train close by.

This hotel is like an ancient Chinese palace! Our suite was huge and beautiful. The wrapped around baloney was great. However, when we were there, it was raining every day. The only drawback is the location, which is up on a hill, but the view was great. We just took taxis everywhere. Taxis were cheap and easy to get. LOVED this hotel

Nice view from our hotel walkout balcony. It truly came across as grand. Room washroom lighting could be brighter. Hotel could also do with more comfortable sitting options in the lobby reception area to enjoy the live music.
