Love love love this hotel. Second year in a row staying here. I’ve stayed at a few hotels around the island, but still think Roaders may be the best. As a solo traveler, the room was perfect for me. Good bed, accessible plugs, and maybe the best shower on the island. Overall, great value, great location, and great amenities. But the most of all, an excellent staff. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

i will not get a windowless room ever again. room is small. room has a musky smell n they tried hard to mitigate that using a purifier. it is what it is for the price paid.

I really loved the location and the space. The rooms are adequate and the close proximity to Ximen and Taipei Main MRT stations is absolutely amazing - easy access to most of the city. The only note I’d leave is that the rooms don’t all have safes for keeping valuables (like passports). The staff was kind enough to store things for me at their own locker but I’d have called it 5/5 if the rooms had a locker too.

So many small little things that made it special (snacks, coffee, decorations, etc.). The bed was really stiff however, but not enough to ruin the experience or anything. This was a great price for the location and amenities. I stayed in an internal room with non windows and appreciate being able to sleep during the day with no light. Very economical. There are lots of convenience stores and places to eat nearby.

Room spacious and comfortable. Location is great. Free snack is a nice bonus. But the biggest highlight was the staff. Genuinely friendly and helpful.

For us, all was okay. But just that the treatment of the staff there, if I am not mistaken the manger, a **Chinese guy who wears spectacles and a shoulder hair length lady,* they are super cold and unfriendly. Treated us very unfriendly and can’t be bothered type but very friendly to “European” customers. Super double standard. Very unprofessional and made us uncomfortable everyday. We are friendly people so can’t get our head around this biased treatment. So I will not recommend this hotel service especially if u are staying there long where u need to meet this type of people who judge you based on your citizenships. Horrible!
