I enjoyed my stay Cho Hotel. There are great facilities available such as kitchenette area on the 2nd floor. My room was well insulated from road traffic noise so sleeping wasn't an issue. Ximending is also a short walk over.

The staff and amenities at the Cho Hotel stand out. Located in the busy district of Ximen, the hotel is beautifully decorated with plenty of vintage old school charm, there's free snacks and ramen in the lounge and the staff are super helpful with tips and recommendations. The rooms are not particularly big but that's to be expected in a hotel in the middle of the Taipei. Nevertheless, they were modern, clean, and the bathroom/shower was easily as big as the rest of the room! Really enjoyed our stay here, convenient to food options, attractions and public transportation. Lovely stay.

Cho Hotel is in a centralized location with many walkable night markets nearby. It's also a short walk away from the train stations so it's super easy to get around town easily. The free snacks and drinks really helped when I got back super late and needed something small to nibble on like a good bowl of instant ramen or chips. Who would have thought Asparagus Juice tasted better than it sounds haha...there's also a 24-hour braised pork restaurant around the corner I had to visit many times since it was so good!

Great, except for the bed

Its a great concept with great interiors n great service and great location. Only negative was the bed, which had an inferior mattress n blanket which made sharing a bed very difficult. If u wont b sharing a bed its reasonable though. If they have an option to top up for good mattress and individual blankets, id pay n rank 5 stars!

The Cho is very conveniently located. The hotel reminds me of a dormatory. The room was listed with a balcony, there was none but did have a huge picture window. Bed was springy and sheets were stained. WiFi went out a lot for long periods. They don’t want people flushing toilet paper. Free snacks and drinks on the second floor and umbrellas are at the main door which was helpful for rainy days.

Cho Hotel is really quite a great place to stay. The rooms aren’t huge but they are big enough. The bang for your buck is really what this place brings. It’s charming, it’s quaint and offers a lot of great freebies like unlimited cup noodles, snacks and drinks as well as free diy laundry. I gave it 5* for everything except overall which I gave a 4* and that’s purely because I believe the rooms could use a mattress upgrade and also add some shelving for some storage space for your belongings. Everything else in the room was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again!
