The property is very functional and served our needs well. It could use some sprucing up and a little more detail to cleaning. There's a very unpleasant odor in the front entryway that leads down to the lower floor. Could possibly be coming from the washer. Floor coverings in basement are pretty dated. Again, we want to express that the property served our needs well. Thank you.

Beautiful condo in great location near Tahoe City. Plenty of room for 5 people. Comfortable bedrooms and living areas. Clean, well-functioning bathrooms. Great kitchen stocked with cooking equipment and some food including spices, teas, etc. Responsive contacts by phone or text. Two downsides--traffic noise from Rt 28 and malfunctioning refrigerator. We followed instructions on it to wait 24 hr from check in to call if not cooling. So we did but a technician did arrive until 24 hr later. By then we were mostly through our stay. He was unable to repair refrigerator but did lend us his Yeti cooler. Would recommend to call AvantStay as soon as trouble arises and not wait.
