What stood out to me. A smile when we came in the door. We booked our room through Expedia. It was an easy process. Walked into our room and had a fresh clean smell in the air very comfortable. Everything was very pleasing no complaints. had breakfast it was good. Everything was clean presented well. I can see myself staying at the Gardner again with confidence of its clean environment.

The hotel has got some updates done to it but the haulways and walls are dark and dingy. Elavator is small and needs work done to it doesnt seem very reliable. Outside grounds are unkept and plain. Hotel is right next to the train tracks and is very loud throughout the day and night no real good attractions by it. Homeless people seem to linger around the hotel all hours of the day or nite. Be weary of housekeeping taking your deposit of $100.00 as they took mine said my 10pound male chorkee peed on the bed so they kept my deposit even though i asured them he didnt they must be mistaken they sent me a picture of a sheet that had a faint could barley see 3inch spot on it that looked like a old coffee or tea mark. Either way no way it costed $100 to treat and wash sheet if there is a place on here ill upload there picture of it. No pool,spa,hottub or any thing at this property to do for fun or entertainment. For what the nitely rate of this place is there are much more accommodating, entertaining, location to attractions and eating that are much more of a better establishment than this place and some of them are even less in a nightly rate as well and they don't need to go ahead and steal your deposit.
This is the $100.00 dollar soiled stain they took pic of and sent me can't see anything how about you?

Room looked great. Beds and pillows were great!!! Microwave worked. Could use a bigger refrigerator. Since we were out of electricity where I lived this was a great stay. We were warm and ate.
