Even though we’ve traveled to Italy for decades, this was our first visit to Sicily—and to Ortigia—and it turned out to be unforgettable. While the charm and rich history of the town speak for themselves, what truly made this trip exceptional was the warmth and genuine hospitality of Maria and Andrea, and the comfort of the space they’ve so thoughtfully created.
Words fall short in capturing how welcome, cared for, and at home we felt during our stay. It was, without question, one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had—one we will cherish for years to come.
We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Sicily.
