Charming apartment, located on the second floor of a residential building, in the heart of Syracuse.
The living area of the apartment consists of a wonderful open space with a kitchen equipped with a kettle and microwave, a living room furnished with smart TV and a double sofa bed and access to the balcony. The sleeping area includes a bedroom without a door with a bunk bed, accommodating up to three people. The bathroom has a large shower box and bidet. A veranda laundry room located in the bedroom balcony completes the layout.
Amenities such as a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, and smart TV in the living room are available to guests.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
The apartment is located on a side street of Corso Gelone, the city's commercial hub, with many facilities in the nearby area. For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area around Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, at a distance of about 30 km, you will find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its natural wildlife oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. If you are interested in culture, you should visit the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Archaeological Park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself, with its historical, cultural and natural beauty. Not to be missed is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore, and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
The accommodation is a five-minute drive from Syracuse train station and an hour's drive from Catania airport.
