The rooms are too tiny. The flush in the toilet kept leaking. Coffee machine never worked.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Excellent service ever and also the place was well built. Love this hotel definitely will book again and recommend to friends and family.
The Porter House is a beautifully ajoining heritage building with modern style residential block. It's clean, stylish, full of tech-automation. Conveniently located next to Gadigal Metro station without being in the middle of the crowded CBD.
We absolutely loved our stay as a couple in The Porter House within a perfect walking distance from several attractions or just hope on a tram an tap on and off you go, very easy system that works with a credit card.
The rooms are modern, spacious and have parquet floors (than you for that 😀).
The breakfast is on the first floor and is ‘a la carry’, very nice touch.
Wonderful location in central Sydney. Very nice, clean room. Walking distance from almost all of sites.

This was a pretty average hotel , the cleaners didn’t do a great job and the breakfast was pretty bad for 40 a head. Some noise from the road I wouldn’t want to stay again unfortunately
Great boutique hotel, would definitely stay again. Only suggestions would be to include more hooks for towels (there are one or two inside the shower and toilet?) and thicker toilet paper - Who Gives A Crap do great quality ones. Otherwise a nice hotel in a good location not quite in the hustle and bustle of the city but walking distance to many places.
Score would be perfect had it not been missing replacements on multiple days such as towels, bottled water etc. I called to have them delivered & they were promptly brought to our room.
