The room had high ceilings which we loved, was simple and uncluttered. Huge bathroom which would be perfect if you needed wheelchair access which is great to see. The bathroom could use a deep clean of the tiles and grout, and the shower curtain a wash. New towels each day would have been good too. The doona didn’t have a cover which was weird! Just a flat sheet below and above. But the bed was super comfy. We have a great stay.

service was terrible i came back from for the last night my belongs were taken from the room even though i put a sign on the door so i lost an electric tooth brush , the code wouldn't work for the entry/ exit and management was rude about it saying i was the issue

Don't stay in roo. 103 if you want to get any sleep. We stayed on a Tuesday night and the pub lights coming through the windows (even with blockout blinds) was ridiculous.....

The Mortdale Hotel has been fully refurbished in the accommodation area, the room are generous in size and very clean. Very convenient to the train station and good amounts of on-street Parking around the hotel.

Brilliant location, easy access to Train and bus. Private and really quiet considering train station is just accross the road! Very tidy with it recently been renovated to a high standard. Super comfy king bed, nice and firm! Had a few great nights sleep.. Ensuite bathroom was fantastic, had everything u need including hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap! Extremely clean throughout although I did notice a couple minor dirty areas like shower floor, along the edges pink and slimy, purple shampoo splatter on far wall in shower and back of toilet had dust collection. Nothing major really! Everything else was spot on! TV worked, jug and condiments supplied just no milk! Shops are just accross the road if u need anything else.. Never heard the pub below nor any patrons outside, I felt very safe considering I was on my own. There is an iron n ironing board, a safe and spare blankets n coat hangers in cupboard. I'm not sure about parking but there is plenty of parking on the street. This was my second time back n staying here and I will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!!

This hotel was definitely a hidden gem! The location was amazing right next to the train station. Paul and his staff were awesome, the food in the pub underneath the hotel was great the little casino attached. Mordale is a lovely little community With train access right outside the door. You can go anywhere on the train for a minimal cost. If you were here, you definitely won’t be disappointed and I won’t hesitate to come back. Next time I come back to Australia.

This quaint little hotel is over top of a pub. The entire building has been renovated and is fresh and clean. Even though the hotel is above the pub our room was quiet. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Probably the nicest hotel room bed that I’ve ever slept on. It seriously was a dream. The location of the hotel is so convenient with a train station right across the street. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bakeries too. The hosts and staff of the pub/ hotel are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again I’d definitely stay here again.

A great room and nice clean hotel. Whilst it close to the railway line, minimal noise heard and surprisingly quiet overnight. Comfy beds, excellent shower and good air con. Staff including the manager were pleasant and helpful. Impressed.
