The room was excellent. Keeping me on breakfast were both very good and served in a most friendly way. The staff for all very friendly efficient and helpful. We would certainly visit again but would maybe ask for a slightly different room with a more comfortable mattress. This though, is purely a matter of preference.

Nice size room and ensuite bathroom. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only negative we happened to be staying night of a party with loud music with constant bass throbbing!

Staff were excellent, repeat excellent - room location was in the roof accessed from almost dangerous stairs.. Room was cold and towel rail did not work. TV was freeview that did not enjoy a good signal. Could not book a room direct with the Hotel but had to go through an agency. Bar was very expensive.

Room was surface clean but lots of dust ( eg behind bed, on tops of sockets). Decor is very tired and needs updating - mould on blinds, rips, in curtain linings, severe calcium build up in bath and toilets - uneven floors. No hairdryer or conditioner in bathroom.No usb charging point for phones. Would have been a poor review but the staff were superb and the food was good which rescued the review overall.Price point reflected the general condition. Was OK for a short stay. I would stay again because staff and service was top rate.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding. Lovely staff, comfortable room and decent breakfast. Only quibble was that we could hear the water tank above our room which woke us up several times. We mentioned this to the staff at check-out and received candid apologies but something to bear in mind.

Comfortable and reasonably priced

Comfortable and very quiet. Very convenient for Swindon, with a good breakfast. Highly recommended.
