"It was an idyllic setting in a glade backing onto the golf course with squirrels scampering about. But the 'shepherds' hut itself was far from idyllic. It was grubby and the wood burner hadn't been cleared and ash was strewn about. The gate legged table was rickety, held together by blocks of wood ..."
