My experience at the front desk was frustrating. Despite letting the staff know that I’m hard of hearing, they continued speaking to me with their backs turned, which made communication difficult. Additionally, the room had dirty cleaning rags left in the bathroom from the previous guest, which raised concerns about cleanliness. The breakfast offerings were also quite limited, especially for someone following a vegan diet.
I travel between New England and Newfoundland a couple of times a year. This is one of the best places I've found to stay over. Everything is a notch or two above others without being pretentious or costly. Excellent breakfast.
Cleanliness stands out in the room, in the hallways, around the entrance, and especially within the breakfast area.
Staff were very helpful, very friendly, and very efficient.
The manager even offered to help us with our luggage. Breakfast was extremely organized with well layered bacon strips to ladle stand for the delicious beans. Staff were on top of taking away used dishes, cleaning tables, and replenishing food. Way ta go, kitchen team. I was very impressed. One of my best experiences
