Welcome to Salty Mermaid, your Surfside Beach retreat just 350 feet from the ocean. This three-level getaway offers private balconies, fresh updates, and plenty of coastal charm.Enjoy a private pool and spa, ocean-view dining, and breezy outdoor living. Inside, you’ll find open gathering spaces, a modern kitchen, and a top-floor suite perfect for relaxing or working remotely.

Now under new ownership as of May 1, 2025, Salty Mermaid has been refreshed with thoughtful touches and updated style.

PRIVATE POOL
Open year-round. Pool heating is available in spring and fall (Apr 1–May 31, Sept 1–Oct 31) for an additional $300 + tax per week. Heating is only effective when temperatures—day and night—are forecasted to be above 60°F. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.

PRIVATE SPA
This is an open-air spa, not an enclosed hot tub. Heating is available Apr 1–Oct 31 for an additional $250 + tax per week. Because it is open-air, heating is only allowed when temperatures—day and night—are forecasted to be above 60°F. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.
