We reserved two rooms - one room had a dirty toilet with urine on the toilet seat. The other room has an a/c unit full of mold on the vents. The refrigerator was also grimy with fingerprints.

We knew coming into this stay that it was not a 5-star hotel, we just needed a place for Grandma’s Marathon. All things considered the stay was alright, the front desk was kind and had water and granola bars for runners! It was a quiet spot and easy to access/park comparatively to some hotels in Duluth. We utilized the sauna and hot tub which were nice to have. However, the bed was really terrible, it caved in the middle and was awkward to try and find a comfortable sleeping position. Overall, I think it was better than other reviews of 1 star, but there are definitely improvements that could be made!

The staff was nice and the breakfast options were pretty good. There were many things out of order like the water fountain, vending machine credit card option on all, and no elevator to bring all your stuff up to the second floor.

The lobby is beautifully welcoming and the desk staff was very polite. The room and breakfast however, were lacking. We were first given room 204 but were moved because, other than the beds being made, the room had not been cleaned. From 204, the desk staff moved us to 209 from which we needed to be moved again because the toilet wouldn't flush after we'd used it. After going to the desk AGAIN to report an issue with our room, we were moved to room 211 where we were finally able to relax a little before venturing out. As for breakfast, well, it was "food" and that's about it. I couldn't eat my biscuits/gravy because the biscuits were so hard, the sausage links and eggs were barely above room temperature making us concerned about whether/not the sausage was actually cooked through and there was no hot water for the oatmeal.

Outdated but we enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly attentive and quick. Clean, breakfast was ok but it’s your typical hotel breakfast, we ate and were fine with it. Pool was fun and hot tub was perfect temp. Can I add that I have never seen a sauna at a hotel before and they had one. How stinking cool!!!

The room was clean and updated and the beds were super comfy. The staff were helpful and courteous and breakfast was good. The only downside is the pool area. The hot tub was disgustingly dirty as it feels like there is sand under your feet. It needs a good scrubbing with bleach. It also just seems like a big bathtub as the jets do not have much pressure. I would stay again definitely for the room but wouldn’t venture into the hot tub again.
