Walk across the street to the beach and pier! Recently renovated, cute, studio apartment located at the Continental Condominium that could not have a more perfect and desired location. My studio is pet friendly (w/non-refundable pet fee) located on the second floor. My unit has a modified kitchen with a refrigerator, hotplate and microwave. It has paid washer/dryer on the premises to use by guests. It is a perfect size for 2 people or those traveling with a child. Parking is at a premium on the island but, that is not a problem at this location. When staying here you will simply walk across the street to the beach. End your evening at the condo pool outside your room.

Convenience Overload

This property is so convenient to the ocean lovers. You have great parking, a pool...walk to end of property, cross the road and you have ocean access. For the pet owner, lots of grasssy areas plus nice neighborhood to walk your pet. The host is very nice and strives to meet your needs.

Four day stay in a non-commercialized environment

My wife and I booked this stay 4 months in advance, looking forward to a stay after the crowds of summer had gone. Our stay was during Labor Day week and we were not disappointed. We could see the ocean from our 2nd floor room and walk to the water's edge in maybe 3-4 minutes. There are a few nice, neighborhood stores in easy walking distance that cater to most needs and offer basic dining and the shopkeepers are really friendly. Met several people in the neighborhood and they were friendly as well. The unit accepts pets, but you'll need to bring supplies and equipment for your pet. There's a good supply of dishes and silverware that will need to be handwashed as you use them since there isn't a dishwasher, but unless you're doing some serious cooking, it only takes a few minutes anyway. The days were in the mid-80s and the AC unit was able to keep the room comfortable and easy to operate. The ceiling fan also helped with comfort levels. The love seat was a nice size for the two of us to sit on and watch TV, though we really didn't watch it much. The queen size Sealy bed mattress was comfortable and pleasantly firm, but not too firm. If you are looking for the offerings of a more commercialized area, Ocean Isle is only about 10-15 minutes away. We liked that option because Sunset Beach was nice and quiet. Would we stay here again? Absolutely.

This cozy little getaway was perfect for me, my husband and our sweet 12 year old lab mix for her last beach trip. Great location to the beach and was the perfect calm & quiet atmosphere we needed for her. We Will definitely be staying again soon, the host was amazing with communication and the room was exactly as pictured and described.

Cozy beach getaway.

Great communication with host. A few blocks from the beach. Clean. Recommendations to host. Maybe pull bed from wall and put 2 small night tables on both sides of bed to make it easier to get to right side of bed. Also consider black out curtains. Had a wonderful time!

Nice little room close to the beach. Room was clean and comfortable. No washer or dryer in room. May have been located somewhere else on property. Didn't like having one side of the bed against the wall, but overall enjoyed our stay and would use again.

Wonderful!

This is my second time staying in this wonderful little condo. I can't wait for my third, fourth, and fifth, and so on and so on. It is the perfect location! They just painted the condo and the exterior of the building. It is super cute & chic. The condo has everything you need for a wonderful beach getaway. Sue is AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for a better more responsive host. Looking forward to my next trip!!

There was a cigarette and toilet paper or paper towels in the toilet when we entered. Also, the smoke detector was chirping and I had to go buy a battery. These things should have been taken care of by the cleaning crew. The TV kept cutting off and saying there was a network problem. This may have been external, but it lasted 3 days. Very annoying! Other than these things, it was okay. Why stick the bed in a corner where you have to climb over the other person to go to the restroom?

Great for small family!

This property was the perfect size and location for my husband, 11 month old, and me. Highly recommend if you want a great deal and you’re traveling with people you don’t mind sharing a studio with. The convenience of staying in the middle of the town where the shops are, and the beach is within walking distance, is the cherry on top!

Super clean unit! GREAT communication with the owner! Would 100% stay there again and recommend to close personal friends. Pool is a fantastic bonus! Unit is close to everything - pier, beach, ice cream all within walking distance :)

Cute little room

Small, but perfect for me and my daughter and fit what we needed. Proximity to the beach was great. The pool was great. Sheets a little bit sandy but it IS a beach spot, so brush it off and move on. Worked out great for our short visit. Renee was super friendly and helpful and easy to work with.
