Good place to stay for a little cheaper.

The stay was very pleasant - the room was decent, not the Ritz for sure, but adequate and a good price - the restaurant being right there was very convenient and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Back to the 60’s with old furniture, dark and musty smelling room, and a dehumidifier that cycled on and off constantly throughout the stay. Way back off the beaten path and nowhere near worth the price paid.

Outdated and bad smell.

We checked in. The check in was next to the bar/restaurant. There was a note at the desk that they stepped away and to call the number. Someone came from the restaurant to check us in. He wasn’t sure how to check in. We got to our room, it was unlocked. The smell in the hallway was of smoke and musty. Our room was not only very outdated, but not clean and had an old smoke smell. Holes in the blankets and horrible mattresses. The springs in the pullout were popping out and was smaller than the bed. The headboard on on of the beds was broken. The sheets and blankets did not smell clean and the pillows were very old. We went to the bar for a drink and the High Life bottle of beer was flat.

The only thing I did not like is that they have duct tape all over their bar stols and I have a pair of pants I can not get the adhesive off of. They need to do some updating!!!

The rooms are well-maintained. The bathrooms are brand new. We love that there is waterfront Mary’s restaurant right next-door. Everyone at Beach Harbor and waterfront Mary’s are so kind to us and make us stay always so pleasurable. Can’t wait to go back.

This place was nice and quiet without a ton of people here this time of year. It had a great beach area with kayaks that were free to use. One thing that makes this place great is the onsight restaurant plus free coffee in the morning. Wish they did offer a free breakfast.
