I stayed in this condo with my three children in January 2026. While the location is ideal, there were two incidents that ocurred that caused the stay--and the days that followed--to be extremely distresing. First, the heat would not travel up the narrow staircase to the second bedroom, so it was freezing upstairs. The temp on thermostat would not rise above 68 so there was no way to remedy the temp of the unit. There were NO WARM BLANKETS. Each bed had a thin cotton blanket and a thin cotton duvet cover--with no duvet insert in any of them! I contacted the owner and told him that we were very cold and the bedding was insufficient. Instead of apologizing or having a couple warm blankets delivered, he said "Thanks for your feedback". The next, and more serious issue ocurred Sunday morning at checkout. While I was provided with the checkout time of 10 am when I made the booking, I was focused on the check-in information and made the mistake of thinking that the check-out was 11. When the cleaner arrived at 10:08 I apologized profusely and told him I would pack up with urgency and vacate the unit within 15 minutes. After vacating, I finally had time to check email. The owner had sent check-out instructions at 5:30 am and then a series of aggressive messages when he discovered I had not checked out by 10:00. He told me he was going to charge 1000 per 15 mins late. He charged 2000 in fees by 10:34 and refused to reverse charges when I told him this was unreasonable.
