Strange man entered my room with his own key. Were told 2 days later he was a guest and was given same keycard as me by automated lockbox system Key cards at this hotel open rooms even if deadbolt inside is on!!! Complained about all of this and got no reassurance. A manager finally reached by phone said he would come over but never did Rooms very bare bones. Not nice at all

Great location for the Christmas markets. Room was clean and spacious for a European Hotel. Breakfast was a bonus since I we didn't know it was included. No eggs. Cereal, yogurt, fresh bread, juice, fruit and a little meat and cheese. We didn't use the kitchen, but they brought a coffee pot that I didn't end up using since it was available at breakfast.

There’s room for improvement for sure. Bathroom and shower need fixing, upon arrival our room wasn’t made. We had to make contact with hotels.com to have that sorted as reception was closed. It will be good to have reception open on the weekends for convenience

This is like a hotel and dorm at the same time. You have to wash your dishes and take out your trash. Having said that, I liked having a kitchenette and the bed was comfortable, so I would stay there again. Great location for the Strasbourg Christmas markets!

Good value and clean enough for the money if booking for <$100/night solely given its central location-they raise prices for the holiday. However you should be aware that: The building is also student housing. Staff is not there at night or over the weekends. There is no housekeeping service for less than 7 days (ie same towels and sheets for six days). And you have to take your own trash out at the end of the stay. The rooms have broken shelves and peeling veneer in the bathroom, and the shower curtain is like half the size it should be.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the historic center and the train station. Reception has very limited hours, but they are attentive. The rooms are clean, the bed very comfortable, and the linens clean. However, it needs better maintenance: the clothes hangers are useless, the bathroom mirror is broken, and the shower curtain is very stained.

The location is very convinient and affordable. Rooms have no airconditioning and the stay in August was unbearable. I tried to leave the windows open at night to let some breeze in, but the street can be noisy and it is impossible to sleep at night.The street was under construction and the access was inconvenient. There was a small portable fan that was covered in dust and not safe to use as it would blow all the dust around. The dust was visible on the walls and baseboards. The rooms are cleaned once a week and you get clean linen and towels once a week. You have to take your own trash out and wash the dishes if you use any.The linens are white and clean but the pillows underneath had yellow stains and looked old and unsanitary. I paid my dues/ tourist tax at check out and the receptionist still sent me an email trying to collect it again.

Good location

Location is good - close to all the downtown action - bars, restaurants, public transport (an excellent system around the city) and a couple of blocks from the beautiful sites around Petite France. Unit nothing fancy but functional.

Very friendly reception staff. Manu was so helpful with local suggestions and assisting with arranging parking for us. Room clean but very basic and in need of some repairs - PowerPoint hanging off wall in bathroom, badly cracked mirror But the property is very central and has parking underneath (must pre-book). petite France less than 10 minutes, Notre Dame Cathedral 5 minutes, lots of restaurants and bars at the doorstep, supermarket 3 minutes, Galleries Lafayette around the corner. Also a great place to base yourself and do day trips to places like Colmar and Baden-Baden.

Great little bargain, but not a hotel really...

This is an affordable, practical solution for a longer stay and should be accepted as such. Having said that, the suite had a useful kitchen with multiple burners, coffee pot, toaster and electric kettle as well as minimal cutlery and kitchen gear. Recent rehabs and nice materials and tidy bathroom, kitchenette, furnishings were nice. Super location! Quiet sidestreet with boulangeries, groceries, restaurants and the train station within minutes. The vibe is university student hostel, but even the hands off approach was fine. The staff were helpful when they were needed. No noise at all. I was very pleased overall. There were some loose faucets and some fix-it work to do, but that’s really not much to complain about. All easy fixes. I would stay here again alone, but it with my wife as this is very DIY hands-off. Not a hotel. A sublet mini studio apartment. As that, I still like it! Bargain!

Straightforward, simple but comfortable

A good place for simple and straightforward lodging. Not like a full service hotel but very adequate. Comfortable bed, spacious room, kitchenette with the necessary basic tools, small table and stools, bathroom with tub and shower, desk, TV, microwave, stove ( no oven). Quiet area, quiet clients, helpful desk attendants. Breakfast not included but available. Clothes washing machine available with token from desk. A light bulb was missing in the bathroom, the bathroom vent wasn’t working, but this was minor and didn’t affect our 3 night stay. Excellent location near all necessities + great shopping. 2 minutes from the main tram hub! If you’re ok without fancy lodging, this is great.
