We spent four nights in Strasbourg as part of an extended trip and were surprised at how great the stay turned out. Many things made it that way: - we traveled by train and there was a metro station underground that was easy-to-use and dropped us 100 steps from the hotel; - the location of the hotel was essentially right in the center which made daily walks and food access easy. We found good restaurants, boulangeries, bars (the alcohol kind) nearby that were great; - the staff was among the nicest and most accommodating we’ve had on this trip. They clearly take pride in their work….generally a sign of good management; - the hotel itself was appointed nicely. I was a concerned that being on the main drag with metro trains below would make it noisy. Not at all - very good soundproofing OR quiet trains 😀. Either way it wasn’t a problem. - we caught what appeared to be a little party in the bar on our last night. Good DJ and fun chats with all the people. It was a good vibe - and if it wasn’t just a one-off, it would make a future stay even better. Definitely on the recommended list.

Just one of the hotels. Nothing special! Not sure this hotel should be rated as 5 star hotel! I stayed in 5 star hotels but this one is far away from it. Restaurant next to the reception is far from 5 star hotel. Tables are dirty, no table cloth. When they bring you new dining set waiters just drop your fork and knife on a dirty table with bare hands. Huge downside is that this hotel doesn’t have lobby. There is one sofa next to the reception where, if you are lucky that it is not occupied, you can sit if need to wait for something.

There are other hotels in Strasbourg.

It is a shame that such a hotel charges extra (25€) for a 60min sauna (you need to book an appointment), which should be included, when you promote yourself as a Hotel & Spa - with 5 stars and the corresponding price. Also the breakfast was not included and 34€ is quite a price if you only want a tea and some fruits.

This property was absolute perfection! We visited while in Strasbourg for the Christmas Markets. Rooms were excellent, staff was amazing, breakfast was perfect and the small restaurant/bar in the lobby was wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone!
