A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel with great service

Everything was great. Great patio. Great location. Great room. Great shower. Really such a charming and lovely hotel. The service was especially great. Wera at the front desk was fantastic. She gave great recommendations, was able to get us reservations in town and was able to answer all of our questions.

Hotel and location is excellent. Only problem was that Valet is not available after 5 pm and nearest self parking is good 15 mon away.

The best! Of 6 similarly priced hotels we stayed at on a recent trip, this one was buy far the best. Best service, best rooms - spacious, nicely furnished, even chandeliers. The court yard was excellent for relaxing. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in Strasbourg

I highly recommend anyone staying here. The location was perfect. The space is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was a surprise with a waterfall shower that was heavenly! The staff was excellent. We did not use the spa but we did use the courtyard and it was nice to have a space to just relax. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Great place to stay in a wonderful neighborhood

Very picturesque room, under the eaves, just the type of quirky we like. No AC that we could see a control for, but opening the window to keep things cool in March is not an issue on the 3rd floor. Could be, though, in hotter months. However, one can get a pretty good draught when opening windows throughout the unit. Quiet neighborhood, so no city noise during the night even with open windows.

Cozy yet modern

It is a lovely hotel. The room is beautiful and spacious. It has a mix of tradition with modern finishes. There is a lot of attention to detail in the design, furnishing, and amenities. Service was also great. When I had an issue with the shower, they made sure to help me out quickly. The hotel also has an excellent location. I highly recommend it.
