This is a super little pub. Great people, nice rooms. A proper breakfast and i good night's sleep. We will return. The perfect location when racing at Sedgefield.

Lovely place
Lovely place to stay - carpets could do with renewing in the bedroom but that was the only negative. Bed super comfy
The room was clean, pleasant and ready on time. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and decently sized. We stayed in Room 1. The room is painted in dark colours which were modern and nice but with the lighting I couldn’t see anything up close in the mirrors. It was dark for applying any make-up.
A lovely hotel very friendly and good atmosphere very relaxing. All the staff were great thank you 🙏. It was right in central for visiting family. Highly recommend it
Lovely location in centre of the village but only has street parking. My room was very small for a double, too small really for 2 people but ideal for 1. Bedroom noisy as only single glazing.
The rooms were lovely, the food was great. Excellent service by Harvey. The only downside is the music is on until 11pm and it’s very loud you can hear it over the TV. It does go off at exactly 11pm though so not really late but I like quiet.
I have to say I fell in love with this place. Decor is 10/10 ! Loved it. Busy pub downstairs, lovely restaurant the other side. Staff were fantastic. I would absolutely recommend and I hope I get to come back
Lovely stay with great staff and service. Really good breakfast. When it says the bed is a double it means a double. Bear that in mind if you are used to a King or Queen sized bed! Would quite happily stay here again
