Rustic, stylish cabin close to wineries and State Parks in Ste. Genevieve County

Located in Ste. Genevieve County, enjoy what this marvelous 1-bedroom cabin has to offer. A cozy living room features 4 twin beds converted from our lounge furniture plus a spacious bedroom with a king bed. Up to 6 guests will feel right at home. The cabin boasts heating from a woodburning stove in the livingroom and AC window units for those warmer nights. Let us know if you are bringing Fido-we have an extra large crate for the pooch.
This cabin is rustic but super comfortable when it comes to the bathroom: On-demand hot water for a relaxing bath in a rolltop antique tub, well water plumbed to the cabin, a dry compost system is used for the toilet (call for clarification) and we have an outhouse. All linens, pillows and soaps are there for your comfort.
You will enjoy a fully stocked pantry, an electric griddle, cooktop, air fryer and microwave for inside cooking, but we love to make an open fire and cook outside. A charcoal grill is also available if you prefer.
Outside amenities include: play area, 10x35 foot back deck attached to the bedroom and kitchen, fire pit area, charcoal grill, tiled 10x12 patio, 10x10 portable pop up screened gazebo, food plot, fruit trees, great hunting for deer and wild turkey (legal licenses required),5+ acres of woods for exploring and foraging and 3 shared lakes in the neighborhood. A SUP and kayak are available upon request. Take advantage of stargazing in a dark sky.
Stay long enough to take the kids to the water park, hike through a 10mile loop at Hawn State Park or the beautiful 2 mile loop at Pickle Creek Nature Reserve.
Check out Charleville brewery and the local wineries. OR- do nothing as you disconnect from work, school and demands, in a tranquil, peaceful and unplugged setting.
