Not good for anew hotel

The hotel was new, therefore clean and generally in good condition. The price for Staunton,VA was reasonable. We had a king size bed. The room was small. Mainly narrow. Two people could walk by one another. Using the luggage cart in the room was very tight trying to load it. For us the bed was too soft. The microwave didn’t work. The shower leaked into the bathroom. The AC was a wall unit vs central. Therefore, when it ran it made the typical thumping noise. We would not recommend.

The accommodations featured comfortable bedding and pillows, and the breakfast offerings, including scrambled eggs and bacon crumbles, were satisfactory. However, the potatoes were undercooked. A significant drawback was the malfunctioning bathroom fan, which operated continuously throughout the night, generating disruptive noise. This issue resulted in a disturbance to my sleep, causing me to awaken at 4:00 AM.

Nice, clean, comfortable. Just remember, Avid doesn't have a coffee maker in the room. But, fresh coffee is always available in the lobby.

Room was okay nothing fancy. The sink and tub faucets were very loose. Some regular TV channels were missing like NBC and ABC. Fitted sheet kept coming off the corners.

Fees increased without notification

I was provided a quote of $176.97 when I booked but am being charged an extra $25 and no explanation why. We were in the room long enough to sleep and shower. That was it.

Great Stay

Great quality hotel with all the basic amenities that you could need. Breakfast was great and convenient. My only complaint, if any was that coffee was ehh. Drinkable, but not great. However Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks less than 5 min down road so honestly no big deal. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Good bang for the buck. Ascetic, Euro-modern facility. Squeaky clean. Decent amount of space. Great beds. Cast-able TV. Uncluttered room. More than adequate, warm breakfast. Already a good deal. Then there's a pool & gym, too. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty average

Pictures make this hotel look nicer than it is in actuality. Customer service was great, but it was clear the facilities were not as new and clean as they look on the website. Tiles were broken of the wall, the room numbers were just kinda stuck on the wall with what seemed like command strips. Our first room had hair in the sheets, hair on the towels, and a hair behind the faucet. Toilet would not flush. It was clear the room wasn't actually "clean." Our second room was much better. Beds were pretty beat, but for one night it was pretty average.
