The well-equipped kitchen is detailed with a side-by-side refrigerator and a two-seat bar. Catch a glimpse of the mountains from your balcony as you barbecue on the gas grill, and serve home-cooked meals at the six-seat dining table inside.

The bedrooms - all with TVs - include a tastefully furnished primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom offering a tub/shower combination and a double vanity. Complimentary WiFi, cable service, and a private washer/dryer are provided as well.

You'll be a few minutes' drive from Zephyr Cove Resort, where you can arrange boat cruises, rent powerboats, or simply lounge on a mile-long beach. We really enjoyed our family trip to Lake Tahoe, and this VRBO property served as a convenient and comfortable home base. The location made it easy to explore both the north and south shores of the lake, and nothing ever felt too far away.The house was well-stocked—especially the kitchen—and the variety of games available kept the kids happily entertained in the early mornings.That said, the main living area felt a bit dated and dim. While the property manager was responsive and came to replace some light bulbs, not all were functional afterward, so the space still lacked sufficient lighting. The wall-to-wall carpeting gave the home a slightly dusty feel, and the visible stains were hard to ignore, even though the place was otherwise mostly clean.We also encountered a few practical challenges: the hot water supply wasn’t quite enough for more than two or three people to shower in close succession, so we had to coordinate a bit. And while there’s no A/C, the house cooled down nicely at night with the windows open. That said, because the property is on a main street, it could be an issue for light sleepers.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made lasting family memories. With just a few thoughtful updates, this home could be even better—and we'd love to come back.

Nice rental. 70s dated. Could use some updating. Biggest complaint if I had to pick one. 2 back bedrooms and master bedroom have blinds and a topper but no room darkening drapes. The 2 back bedrooms get the early morning sun. So no sleeping in. All the traffic coming up Kingsbury Grade at night totally illuminate the master bedroom all night.

No functional WiFi or TV. Carpets Stained... dirty?

No functional WiFi or TV for 4 days. Made it hard to get things done on my laptop for work and left limited options at night for entertainment. The many large stains on the carpeting that looked 15 to 20 years old was also a turnoff.
