Great bar and pool, subpar room

The amenities are super cool, couple of great bars with really good food and breakfast. The pool is fantastic as well. The room itself unfortunately was not well maintained. When we tried to open the door the hardware was so stiff I had to put most of my weight on the handle to get it to unlatch. We also had to slam the door to get it to close all the way (sorry neighbors) The shower head was completely unscrewed when we started the shower, water spewed everywhere. It was an easy fix just to screw it back in, but the temperature of the water fluctuated back and forth from scorching hot to ice cold without even touching the handle. When they repainted the ceilings of the room, they didn’t cover their beautiful wood floors and got white paint speckled all over them and made it look like they were cutting corners. Not the end of the world but I personally would not like to live in a home or stay in a hotel that reminds me of a “landlord special”.

This was my second stay at the Hollander and it was just as nice as the first. I felt very comfortable there and everyone is very nice. The free bottled water is a major plus. I highly recommend The Hollander and hope to stay there again during my next visit.

Great place to stay comfy beds and clean rooms. Enjoyed the bar and food. Its a tad noisy at night as you can hear people coming an going but you can plan for that.

Great stay

This hotel covers all bases! It was clean charming and had a very good choice of food in the onsite restaurant. Service desk was very accommodating. We stayed for 3 nights and they were all great. Very close to all the downtown activities and very walkable. Also a great bus system The looper that is free. It drops at all the interesting places. The Happy hour had super affordable deals.
The pier was busy and had restaurants and activities for families.

I loved this hotel! Great location, reasonably priced (that includes fantastic food and drinks as well). The pool and the pool bar are intimate but with a great, friendly vibe. The front porch is perfect for relaxing with a drink. Close to many restaurants, but you may find yourself eating every meal in the hotel. Can’t recommend this place enough. Perfect for solo travelers and couples alike.

Beautiful older property restored to its former beauty. Unique lobby bar & restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Cozy front porch for relaxing. The staff were all very welcoming and anxious to please. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
