The room was not great… seemed like the craftsmanship of the room was just not put together well… the rack in the shower felt like it was something cheap and off temu. Also felt the way they had the fridge was dangerous because the cabinet got so hot. Also they only had one ice machine and one microwave for all hotels felt cheap. The staff was nice though and attentive if you needed something.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. It's one block from Beach Drive, which offers several shops, restaurants and bars. It's also close to the Pier and Vinoy Park. I would gladly stay at the Galaxy Hotel again.

The overall room and view were spectacular. Great neighborhood two short blocks from the bay front. Towels in the room upon arrival were an interesting assortment with one wash cloth, a missing bath mat (one was definitely needed because the spacious walk in shower did get the outside floor wet), and two bath towels (not sure if they were bath towels as they were somewhat small). Many of the recessed lights were not working. This was a bit of a challenge to manage when trying to shave and outline my beard in the morning.

This is a new hotel so there’s still work to be done. However, the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was nice. The location was convenient for shopping and food choices. The views around the pier were amazing too. The parking garage was the weirdest thing though

This was my first stay at Galaxy but it won’t be the last. I love the location - a short walk from the pier and lots of great eateries. The staff was friendly, the room was clean & comfortable with all the necessary conveniences - coffee maker, fridge, waterfall shower, and a beautiful view of downtown St. Pete.

For being a new hotel, the rooms were not clean. There was a mysterious white stain on decorative comforter at the foot of the bed. The bed is made with a sheet, and you have a microfiber blanket in the closet. The room smells like mildew; the towels are so thin and not that big, and there wasn’t even a tissue box. The bed being comfy was probably the only nice thing.

What terrible service. This hotel should be renamed the Ghost Hotel. Once they hand you your key they are done. They would not clean the room at all, even though I went to the front desk each morning at 7:30 and requested cleaning. I had to go to the front desk every day to get towels. There was no water left in the room even though we were told at check in the there would be. There was no cups, hand soap, tissues, waste basket in main room. In general, their website description is a lie. Avoid this dump.
