The MAC is impressive in several ways.

I have stayed at the MAC three times in total. All 3 times had excellent staff and location to the sports arena could not be any closer. It is also very close to a casino, highway access, and the riverfront. On my first stay last year, the view out the window at the river was beautiful.

I have stayed at the Chicago athletic club, and it was night and day compared to the Missouri hotel. For the price, I would have assumed the rooms would have been in better condition. Immediately we noticed the bathroom sink drain was stuck and maintenance came and fixed it. The shower was extremely small and the water temperatures only ran at one temperature. Then when we came back from our day trip, the cleaning service opened up a window and the room was freezing! Radiator didn’t work, and when I called down, they told me the heat only kicks on when it’s 50 degrees, and the heat runs by each floor. For the price, I’d expect way better. Will not visit again, too many other nice hotels in the area.

REALLY cool, old-school hotel, staff is amazing and friendly. Didn't get a chance to check out the health club or any of the restaurants, but it seemed busy!

Beautiful place, staff was amazing and in such a perfect area! Several amenities were “closed” when told they wouldn’t be. Room stayed hot, couldn’t change temperature settings. Beds was terrible, was like sleeping on a rock.

Very outdated, carpet, furniture, bed. No way to cool your own room but crack open a window next to the highway. Dress code reminders everywhere, not very welcoming.

The property was very clean and staff was SO friendly! The location is ideal - everything you could need is within walking distance and there are no shortage of things to do in the area. The only downfall is the property is LOUD. Our room was near the elevator and it was incredibly loud. People were also very loud in the halls until roughly 3am.

I'm one who likes a microwave in the room, which is not a thing here. A minor inconvenience. But that step into/out of the bathroom was a safety hazard. I almost fell a few times, no etoh on board. I'd stay there again, now I know to ask for a different room.
