Our family stayed here for one night on our way home from visiting our daughter and grandbaby up in Michigan. I booked this hotel originally because it was walking distance to the arch. When we checked in, we were pleased to find out they upgraded our room to the top floor with the view of the arch. Then come to find out, our stay includes 3 free alcohol drinks per person at the bar, plus dinner and breakfast buffet. That right there is worth the stay. That saved us money for feeding me, my husband, and 2 adult children. The dinner and breakfast was very good. Cocktails were great if you ask them for a double shot. We also visited the arch museum and took the tram up into the arch. Hotel is a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend staying at this hotel anytime you visit St. Louis.

I enjoyed the location and its history and nice views. I had never stayed at a Drury Hotel and was greeted with such warmth and hospitality during my entire visit! I was also surprised by the abundance of beverages and food available throughout the day. The social aspect of the Kick-Back made it a very unique and pleasant stay. The staff was most helpful and attentive. The pool and spa as well as the coffee station and drinks were a welcomed part of my daily routine!

The staff at check in was very friendly as well as the bar staff. Unfortunately we overhead a manager, I believe by the name of Joe, talking disrespectfully about law enforcement as they had a vehicle stopped in front of their hotel, he interrupted the officer during their traffic stop, and then proceeded to come into the hotel and comment that their hotel feeds them for free and if they don’t move he won’t be feeding them anymore. We kind of felt this was not appropriate to be venting to patrons of the hotel. The rooms were clean, however not as the pictures online depicted. We had two rooms and both had a horrible smell of cigarette smoke that could not be fixed. Whenever the AC kicked in the smell of the smoke would get worse. During our stay our room was never made up or stocked with new towels, we ended up having to call down and ask for extra towels. It does say you can opt out of the housekeeping, but we had not done that so we aren’t entirely sure why our room was never tended to.

We loved our stay at this hotel! It is easy walking distance to both the ballpark and to Gateway Arches National Park. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Drinks and appetizers are included for free in the evening, as well as a hot cooked breakfast buffet in the morning. The food is very good! The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!
