The whole stay was wonderful! The kids had a ball on the slide and in the pool. The food was excellent. The only issue we had was when we ordered room service the person who took our order took a long time to take it. I understand it was busier there than normal - so this was no issue. The issue was when we called to get an update on our food (because it was almost 40 mins) the person who answered rudely said the food was on the way up and hung up the phone before we could ask any other questions. That was the only negative part of our stay here and would not deter us from staying there again.

The room was not cleaned after the first night. I believe an oversight by the staff because we had met them in the hallway and they were pleasant and diligent. The restaurant meal was served cold. In both cases we received an apology and compensation . That being said, Best Western is one of my preferred hotel chains to go to when travelling. They used to give complementary breakfasts, but this establish did not. That was disappointing

Booked this hotel due to proximity to the airport and travelling with children. Arrived at 1AM exhausted and when the kids pulled down the sheets there were large brown stains. Disgusting. They set us up with another room but we were obviously disturbed.

The room was perfect. The staff were all so lovely and upbeat. They even came right over to fix our phone when the cord was breaking up the call to the front desk. Everything was clean and spotless. The late supper and breakfast we ordered from Amelia’s Restaurant and Lounge was amazing and really hit the spot. There’s a reason we always book at the Best Western in St. John’s; it’s the best, hands down! 10/10
