Cloud Nine is a private villa located on Gifft Hill, high above the tranquil blue waters of Great Cruz Bay on the Island of St John, USVI. The villa offers incredible unobstructed water views across acres of conservation land with spectacular sunsets, gentle trade winds, and the twinkling lights of distant islands.

Cloud Nine affords the comforts of traditional Caribbean architecture with casual elegance and creates a private and restful environment. The three bedroom, three bath villa frames an extra large 1,200 square-foot deck with private pool, spa, and ample space to lounge throughout the day in both sun and shade. The covered dining area is a favorite spot for meals while taking in the breathtaking views of the Caribbean sea below.

Cloud Nine is conveniently located a short 7 minute drive on paved roads into Cruz Bay where you will find a myriad of restaurants, bars and shopping options. And of course the world famous North Shore beaches located within the National Park are an easy 15 minutes from the villa.

Cloud Nine’s great room is a traditional Caribbean structure with soaring 20 foot vaulted ceiling with exposed rafters and beams. There are plenty of cozy seating options, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, air conditioning, a reading nook, and dining table with a sliding glass door to the adjacent pool area.

The Cloud Nine kitchen is equipped with a gas stove/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and filtered tap water- no need for single-use plastic water bottles! You’ll find the kitchen well stocked with basic pantry needs including: coffee filters, paper towels, sugar/Splenda, an assortment of spices, and complete cooking and dining utensils. A gas grill is located just outside the kitchen by the front door.

Cloud Nine is perfectly set up for outdoor living and dining. The massive 1,200 square foot deck accommodates chaise loungers, covered alfresco dining, and plenty of open space for lounging in the sun or shade. True to the St John lifestyle, you’ll find yourself spending most of your time outside. And just wait for those magical sunsets!

Cloud Nine is conveniently set up with separate pods for both of the ensuite bedrooms, accessible via a covered walkway to the main living/dining area.

Bedroom #1 features a king bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and double doors that open onto the pool courtyard and view. Ensuite is a large double vanity bathroom and garden shower that opens onto the pool deck. The laundry room with full-size washer/dryer is located behind the primary bedroom in an attached utility room.

Bedroom #2 features a king bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and double doors that open onto the pool courtyard and view. The single vanity ensuite bathroom has a closet and private garden shower.

Bedroom #3 features a semi-private loft at the top of the stairs in the main great room. It has a queen bed and two additional twin beds. A private bathroom and shower are at the base of the stairs. The loft is air conditioned by way of the main house unit.

With over 60% of St John protected as a Nation Park, the island boasts some of the best beaches in the world. From Cruz Bay take the beautiful North Shore Road to experience the unspoiled beaches of Honeymoon Bay, Hawksnest, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay, and Trunk Bay which was just rated the #1 beach in the world!
