This is a very nice downstairs cottage facing the beach. Great screened porch facing the water. Walk across the beach access path just twenty yards from the driveway to fish or sunbathe at the prettiest beaches in the state! Rinse off in our pool just outside. Perfect for one or two couples or a small family. Pets welcome.

Trout is certainly a bargain and a favorite of many couples who return again and again. Recently remodeled and updated (photos Feb 2026). Beach access. Lovely two bedroom w/ screened porch and pool. Beach wagon, canopy sun-shade and folding beach chairs on site for guest use. Fast high-speed internet with wifi speed tests > 500 mbps often seen. Pool is shared two other units on the property: "Redfish" and "Pompano."
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Great stay. Host was attentive to pre questions and questions during stay. Overall everything advertised was as it said. Good location, easy access to the beach.The pool was really terrific and was sparkling clean. Did not realize it had 2 other apartments, but enough privacy to make it ok.I would recommend it and might rent again.

Great property ! Steps from the beach. The facility was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials and even extra paper towels, trash bags, etc. For it to allow pets you wouldn’t know that pets have stayed there. Brandon was an excellent host, communicated well and timely. We highly recommend this property !

Great location! Right across street from beach access. Space was perfect for 2 adults. Very clean and comfortable bed. Pool area was great, but weather was too cool to swim. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The location was wonderful, just a few steps to the beach. Wonderful supplies to stay at the beach all day. The place was very clean. Looks to be newly remodeled. We did have a little issue, but the owner made it right. wouldefinitely stay here again

Getaway

Although we had to evacuate due to Helene mid-week, had a great time at Trout! Ready and clean when we arrived and had all the necessities for a relaxing stay. Pool on-site was nice and easy access to beach across the street. Just wish we had been able to stay our full booking. Host took care of us and we plan on going back.

Unfortunately, we got to St. George Island the day before hurricane Debby was projected to hit the island. We only got to stay one night in the unit before we were evacuated. The unit was very nice, clean and airy. I would definitely visit the island again, before or after hurricane season and stay here. It was very close to the beach with easy onsite parking.

Nice Getaway

This was a nice property for our family of three. It was clean, the kitchen was stocked enough you could cook if you don't want to go out, the screened in porch was wonderful. It was close to the beach but no longer has a beach view since someone built across the street. The extras provided for the host were great. An umbrella, beach cart, chairs, kayak. The pool was a nice way to relax if you wanted a break from the sand and was clean. You can tell the owners are putting a lot of effort into the property and were quick to respond to our couple of questions. We'll definitely be back.

Much needed relaxation

Cute older unit in a triplex. Very adequate for our needs at a reasonable price. Could use some basic amenities in the kitchen. Bathroom sink didn't want to drain but that certainly was not going to ruin my vacation. Properly sold recently so i am sure new owner will be doing some updates. Loved the pool, screened porch and being close to the beach. Thanks for the stay at Pineapple Cottages.
