When we arrived we were told we did not have a reservation. After showing our Expedia reservation, the young man checking us in said we were not registered. After calling Expedia, while on the line, the clerk then asked how we spell our last name, only then did he say we did have a reservation. That took 30 minutes. Then when we went to the room, the room key did not work. We went back to the front desk. He came and tried to open the room. He could not open the room either. So he put us in another room. It was a smoking room. Back to the front desk to get another non-smoking room. Finally in our room 1 hour after checking into the motel, we tried to turn on the TV - no luck. The next day we discovered the only way we could turn on the TV was to do so manually. The next day we attended our convention and after returned to our room. We were locked out again. We were told somone else was in our room. When we asked the clerk where were are belongings, he went to the room, and no one else was in the room. We stayed in the room for the balance of the trip.

First thing my kids said when we walked into the room was “mom do you hate us?” Totally my fault choosing something because of the low price. Room smelt of smoke. Shower broken. Hair everywhere, not sure when and if the room was cleaned prior to us. I would never stay here again nor would I ever recommend to anyone else.

Poor experience. I was charged twice.

I paid for a stay at the motel six in St. George Utah, two nights ago. When I arrived, it was 3 o’clock AM. So I booked a hotel for Monday at 3 AM, so I could stay there at that time. When I got to the check-in lobby, the guy said that I had booked for Monday and I could only check in at 3 PM. There was no option for me to check in the day before because the day was already Monday. So Motel 6 made me pay for the hotel again. Even though I paid hotels.com the guy would not let me stay there unless I paid him again.

Avoid- You may pay more than the contract rate!

DISHONEST! I booked it through Hotels.com for $301.19 to pay at the property. Motel 6 charged me $319.41 and won't refund the $18.22 they overcharged. Hotels.com has even tried to call them directly, and they still refuse to refund. We were there in March when it was hot, and they weren't running the A/C.

When we opened the door, the floor was extremely dirty. The air conditioner was dripping all over the floor hair in the shower very moldy smell bed had springs sticking through it and they refuse to fix it.

Terrible and dirty rooms

It was midnight by time we checked in. So with that being said the room smelled like cat pee. There was blood on the bathroom floor and one of the beds had what looked like boogers or mouse poop on the sheet. There was this yellow substance running down the walls

Housekeeper knocks on your door to check if vacant

Housekeeper will knock on the door at 9am until you open it just to check whether the room is vacant or not. White towels look all yellowish. The worst, they will ask to leave tip for the service at the end

The Bathroom locks from the Outside

I stayed one night and didn’t feel very comfortable. The room felt quite bare and a little unsettling, especially with a lock on the bathroom door from the outside. I also heard people walking around the hotel late at night, which made it hard to relax. I was glad to have my dogs with me for company, but overall I didn’t feel at ease and probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
