Lovely plaza area to sit. Great breakfast and server. Great front desk personnel. Big tree lovely. Nice bathroom. Room floors need to be mopped...got socks and bathroom towels dirty when wiping up water from ahower. The outside of the building needs fresh paint... It good be an awesome place if freshened up.

We loved it! The staff was friendly, the courtyards outside were really nice, the room was clean, walking distance into town, only about a half mile. Also, trollies were available to take in town. There was a restaurant/bar next to the property and other restaurants were walking distance. I will recommend Villa 1565 to everyone I know. We didn't want to leave.

“Old Senator” tree in the motel parking lot

The location was good for us. We picked it specifically because the “Old Town Trolley” tours stopped in the motel parking lot. This is the way to tour old town as parking is limited everywhere in the city. Our rooms seemed clean, though we did see one cockroach in one of the two rooms. Their complimentary breakfast was good. The area was kept clean and food items refilled as needed.

A great place!

Room was very clean and king size mattress very comfortable. What was really impressive was the shower!! Water pressure was unbelievable and temperature heated up q. Best of anybhotel stays we have had recently.

Great location. We were upgraded to a large, 'deluxe' room with a nicely appointed bathroom and big, comfy bed. Breakfast was good, parking was convenient and pool area clean. Floors, windows and doors could have been cleaner.

The rooms were clean thank god. The outside is really dirty looking they could use a little pressure washing or something. i booked 2 rooms and I received my deposit back on one room right away. It’s been 5 days that they have held my 2nd deposit. The initial check in staff was not as friendly as they should have been. Overall it could use a little improvement it was just ok.

At first glance, it looks great. But the detail to cleanliness and the need to replace worn out and dirty things (the window shade is hideous and the entry door looks like the same one from when the place was built. There is peeling paint, scuff marks, extremely dirty areas on doors at the touch points and the toilet is mounted in a crooked manner and the caulking job on the floor looks like it was done by a blind handyman. The aerator in the bathroom faucet was missing ...probably used in a previous occupants crack pipe. Wire coat hangers in the wardrobe and the mattress needs replacing. The refrigerator was a few degrees below room temperature. Just not what we expected from the few pictures on the booking site and $130 a night. All was not lost, I liked the clock on the night stand and the free breakfast was ok but definitely not enough seating for a high occupancy place.

The staff were very nice, the room had some upgrades done. But some of the work needed to be redone. The bathroom sink new and modern but used a piece of wood to cover the plumbing. The shower and some base board was meldew.
