We were close to the Historic areas. Even though the property has valet parking, they allowed people to self park. They need to be clear when explaining the parking rules and not threaten to have cars towed if you accidentally park in an area that's assigned only for valet parking. We paid $30 a day to park and there are not enough parking spaces, so you're left to make your best decision on parking. Hotel needs to be more clear regarding parking and inform staff that threatening to be towed is not the professional way to handle a situation, especially if someone is already paying $30 a day for parking.

Overall this is a great option if you want to save a little money by not staying in St. Augustine’s core. It’s approximately a 15 minute walk to town if that is ok with you. The pool area is very nice with plenty of comfortable seating options on the spacious decks. The only cautions I would raise are the lack of a safe in the room and that rooms are not cleaned daily.

Overall the property is nice. Thepool aeea has a great view of the water and sailboats. My biggesy issue was the bed...it was VERY uncomfortable. It had dips on both sides, a hump in the middle and you coukd hear and feel the springs. More horels need t upgrade to sleep number beds so each guest can choose their amount of support.
