PatnLynn Mitchell We enjoyed this place very much. It is an older hotel and is evident in some areas, however our room was excellent. Daniel let us check in early, we have been on the road a while and we appreciated being able to nap! We had a delicious breakfast at Santiago's with Josephine as our server. Our room was ocean facing with a balcony, well decorated and comfortable. The view was stunning. The trolley stops at the hotel to take you into historic downtown. Very convenient! We did see quite a few dogs as others had posted but did not have the barking issues at all. The artwork was fun to see. Overall we loved it and would stay again

The grounds were spotless. Someone was always cleaning. Staff (minus the cranky guy at bar serving coffee on Saturday morning) were all kind and friendly. I love the text communication and the room was comfy and clean. My only complaints were that we can hear our neighbors through adjacent door and hallway. And we had a drain fly problem in our bathroom. It didn’t bother me but it might bother others. Otherwise I would stay again
