I called the property directly just before booking 2/22. I made sure to verify with staff that the pool would be OPEN and there would be no planned maintenance. A big part of my family’s trip was to utilize the pool. Upon arrival, I was informed that as of 3/3 the pool had been closed and was planned to be closed for maintenance. I spoke with the front desk associate about my concern. And I was told the pool has had a leak and they finally found someone to fix it. The issue is, there are multiple other options in the area with pools, and many more cheaper without pools. I booked a place with an open pool for my child as that was what she was looking forward to. Or I could’ve saved a lot more money and just booked a property without a pool since this property’s pool was not in service. I feel as if I had paid for and picked this property and didn’t get the value for what I paid. Unrelated the property and signage is confusing, we walked around for 20 minutes trying to find the front desk as more than half of their elevators were out of order. The room itself was okay, the bathroom smelled, and the ceiling was coming apart. I can say the only positive about this property is the free breakfast that was served.
