If you are looking for a unique experience for your stay in downtown Indianapolis, the Crowne Plaza is the place for you! We enjoyed getting the opportunity to sleep in an old train car, and exploring around the hotel! The area is a convenient walk to St. Elmo’s Steakhouse and Monument Circle! The staff was very friendly! Even though extremely busy with a load of laundry/bedding, Marta the housekeeper was kind enough to keep open the elevator door for us as we were leaving. The breakfast buffet downstairs had a nice variety of food options to send us off on our way with full bellies. All in all, it was the perfect stay!

I loved that you had turkey sausage on your breakfast. I enjoyed how my water and coffee was refilled with a smile without asking. Staff was very helpful. I enjoyed my quesadilla. We loved the train on the 2nd floor and the figurines. The stain glass window in the ballroom and main meeting room was very beautiful and the sun shown through. The staff was very professional and helpful.

Visit Indy several times a year. The Crown Plaza is our Destination each time. In the past several years, everything has been updated. The service has always been good. All the rooms have been refurbished and remodeled. All very clean and efficient. Restaurant updated, modern, with excellent service. Highly recommend.

Staff was courteous and the place was nice. They also had option to leave luggage during the game. That was a great option. Parking situation should be listed online. Only valet parking available. Bath rooms could be a little cleaner.

The Grand Hall is typically locked and closed, which we didn't know, we asked the front desk how to get there, they let us know that it is typically locked and said they could have an engineer come open it for us, not only did he unlock and let us get a look around, he took us for a very impressive tour, we learned some history and saw some very cool sights of Old Union Station.
