Wonderful hotel - great central location next to town without being in the middle of the busy nightlife (3-4 minutes to the waterfront), spacious clean modern rooms, great breakfast, quiet private courtyard and friendly, helpful and interested staff. It is a little hidden behind a gate but that adds to the privacy when town gets busy. We had a fantastic stay are happy to give a 5 star rating!

Great stay in Split

Very nice hotel at the top of old town Split. The breakfast waiter was very nice and steamed oat milk for our coffee because my wife is vegan. Breakfast was excellent for omnivores and vegetarians but we should have requested some vegan cakes and yogurt in advance, or brought our own. The room we had had a double bed in one room and a couch made up as a bed in an anteroom, which was plenty of space for three. Diocletian’s palace, the port, a bank, gelato and restaurants were close by. It was a peaceful place to stay in a very boisterous and crowded tourist area.

The location was ideal being just a very short walk to the old town and the sea front. The staff were absolutely fantastic and always willing to share advice about the local area. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent modern hotel mixed with original old part of the building. The receptionist was excellent and very helpful and the room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was in the sister hotel because their kitchen wasn’t ready from the modernisation but it was only 20 meters away and was excellent. The only downside was finding the hotel which was a real Problem being it is tucked away and not sign posted took nearly an hour to find. Only found it due to a very friendly local who had never heard of it but had a better phone than me.

We booked a week's bed and breakfast in this hotel, but on arrival we were told that we would need to go to their sister hotel each day for breakfast. We weren't happy about this and after the first night when we also had problems with the shower/toilet door in our room, we asked to be moved to their partner hotel where we were having breakfast anyway. To their credit, they agreed to move us and we enjoyed the rest of our stay in the Azur Palace. The only thing I can't fault are the staff. They did everything they could to be helpful.

Beautiful hotel! It’s hidden and you don’t know what to expect when getting to it but is beautiful with a mix of old building with modern rooms. It is walking distance to everything in old town Split. Highly recommend!

This hotel is well located just outside the walls of the old town! It’s easily accessible and super close to everything you would want to see in the old town. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, by European standards, and while the bed was quite firm (typical for Europe) it was very comfortable stay. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable spot in a great location!

Excellent location and accommodations!

4 Nights in Split- this place was clean, comfy and the shower was perfection! 👨‍🍳😘 It is conveniently located to the main arteries leading into and out of Old Town Split, steps away from the local stop and taxi stands. Quiet, slept soundly every night. 3 rooms, all reporting same experience. Breakfast is 100’ down the pedestrian path in front. This is short term as the this location is fitting out its own kitchen service. It’s not far and Tony and the crew at Azur Palace lay out a delicious breakfast along with warm hospitality. Which brings me to the driving force of my review; the warm hospitality and absolute pleasure of interacting with the hotel staff. All personnel were above average in courtesy and professionalism but, Rhea was especially awesome; kind, generous with advisement and suggestions, and even a quick language review. 10 out of 10, would recommend, would stay again!

The staff were lovely, and the hotel is in a very convenient location, with the Riva being an easy 10 minute walk. However, it's extremely difficult to find, as there is no name outside - luckily, I happened to recognise the metal gates from the listing photos. It's actually just off the square where the bus/taxi stops are, so it's easy once you know where to look. The rooms were very clean, and the shower was great, but there were no English TV channels - only Croatian. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but they were available downstairs. Breakfast was a short walk up the path to the sister hotel, the Azure Palace, and it was disappointing. I would say it was basic but adequate. There was a limited choice of cereals, some cheese and meat, a few small croissants (which they ran out of) and eggs (cooked to order). There were no other hot choices and no other vegetarian options. Some fruit would have been nice. The coffee machine was not in use, so we had to ask the kitchen every time we wanted one. We felt the quality of the breakfast didn't match the quality of the accommodation. That said, we would stay again.
