The Teacher's House is located in the small, picturesque village of Trypi, at the foot of Taugetos at an altitude of 640m. at a distance of 9 km from Sparta and just 4 km from the archaeological site of the Castle of Mystras, on the old Sparta-Kalamata National Road, at the entrance to the outstanding natural beauty, route of Lagada.
The village is famous for the springs with running water, for the waterfalls of the Knakionas river as well as for the famous cave chasm of Kaiada.

Once inside, this was a wonderful, charming house. Balconies for the upper floor, back porch for the first floor. There was wood for the fireplace. 2 nice size bedrooms with queen beds, 1 smaller bedroom suitable for single occupancy. 2 nice size full bathrooms.For anyone over 60, access will be challenging. There is parking, but you are not able to park close to the unit. The walk up to the unit is steep and long and if it has been raining, the pavement can be slick.We found this home warm, comfortable, and welcoming.Just be prepared for a climb.

The access to the house was challenging in the rain for older people. The furnace wouldn't light and was smoking during a cold rainy spell. We couldn't get it to work and turn on properly, it would be nice to have that on before check-in. The owner never got back to us. It is a charming mountainside home with spectacular views. Very friendly for our group of 4. The kitchen worked fine and I loved the spring water! Thank you!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette maison que nous recommandons notamment pour sa proximité vis-à-vis de Mistra. La maison est une maison de famille, plein de charme. Le village est très calme et bénéficie de la présence de deux tavernes (pour les amateurs de viande !). Point intéressant : il y a de nombreux chemins sur le Taygète qui permettent de découvrir la région.
