Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, yummy continental breakfast, all in all a great stay (nosy guests in the small hours, but not the hotels fault) don’t get a room near the bar. Will return.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, it is immaculate, rooms have lots of space and the beds are comfy, staff are friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend staying here.
Amazing hotel, awesome, happy and friendly staff that can’t do enough for you, Shirley at breakfast is a credit to the hotel!
We upgraded to a larger room with an outdoor area which was ideal as we took our little pooch!
Very dog friendly, dog bed in room with a bowl of posh doggy food!
Onsite pub which has a lovely country feel, again super friendly staff and varied
Will definitely stay again and can’t wait!
The hotel is beautifully decorated and including the bedrooms. We had a standard room & the bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly & happy to chat. We would also recommend a wander down to the pub as the food is lovely & reasonably priced.
Excellent experience. A fairly new hotel, so condition / decor is basically flawless and gives a very luxury feel. Customer service was excellent and we felt very welcome.
This hotel is exceptional in its entirety and we enjoyed our stay. However a big disappointment was the food at breakfast. The hotel was not so busy when we went and yet the service was slow and really not to the standard described by others. I had checked before booking that there was provision for vegan/ vegetarians and was assured that they catered for that. On the first day there was the basic cereals ( cornflakes and muesli) with limited cold milk and all other things such as pastries and meat etc but nothing for vegetarians other that sliced bread and butter and jam/ marmalade plus unripe pineapple When asked if there was porridge available- the answer given politely was ‘ no as we only serve porridge in the winter months’ Then asked for toast with avocado and the avocado looked green but just tasted horrible. All four of us had to leave the toast and there was no time for just a piece of toast to replace . We were assured on the first morning that toasted tofu will be available on the second morning and there was nothing and my girls who love tofu were given eggs which they eat very occasionally- and had that reluctantly as they are grown n teenagers. It was very disappointing as one cost of the room per night is not cheap and a good breakfast that is healthy and filling for vegetarians was just not there. Also the staff in the dining area had very little warmth . Overall the hotel stay was exceptional but the highly rated breakfasts were a severe let down for us .
Staff were fabulous, room was great.
Breakfast didn’t quite live up to expectations though which was a shame as everything else about our experience was faultless.
Fabulous place, only been open for around 6-weeks when we stayed in June-25 for a night's room & breakfast in a premium king with balcony. Quality of the finish, cleanliness, and friendliness of the team headed by GM Sabin were all exceptional. Highly recommended.
When in the area i will be staying at the polo club again amazing grounds with gastropub the amazing lady's on reception will take you to the pub in a golf cart the room was very good nice king size bed well above average room bits and bobs a first for me real milk in the fridge in your room for tea and coffee not creamer or uht stuff and all at a good price
We stayed at the hotel after a day at Blenheim Palace and were really pleased with our choice. From check in throughout the stay the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room was clean and well maintained - really lived up to the polo club name. Nice pub on the grounds, the Millstone Hare, where we had a nice meal.
Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.
I was staying at the hotel, as I was attending a wedding party in the XL centre. Firstly, I would like to say a massive thank you to Lauren who was there for my check in and check out. She was amazing!!! She even helped to take photos of me in my outfit, she was so friendly and lovely to speak to. It made my stay at the hotel super comfortable. The lady serving breakfast in the morning was super friendly and thank you to the rest of the staff I interacted with. The room was amazing, very clean and tidy. Great size room aswell. I will definitely be back again to stay!!
No problems with staff or service. Not offering breakfast buffet as (reading between the lines) not enough guests. Eye watering decor has the 1980s Las Vegas casino bathroom kitsch appearance as pictured, but on the plus side everything is new and works. Actual bathrooms very well equipped. You could pay a lot more for less.
