Our bedding had blood on it when we arrived. The staff changed it promptly, however. I did notice there was a spill on the nightstand that hadn't been cleaned and hair throughout our bedding as well. The pool was so cloudy we couldn't see the bottom. It wasn't the worst we could have had; it just didn't hit the mark for us this time!

Cold water and Hair

When we arrived no one was at the front desk had to wait ten minutes. Got us checked in and went to rooms kids promptly changed for pool. Which was the best part of the hotel even if the pool was a hair too cold for my liking. In our rooms there was hair and animal fur in the drawers and around the beds and such. All over it was just grimy looking. And the breakfast room was not available. They did offer grab bags for breakfast with cereal, yogurt, apple juice, an apple, a packet of oatmeal, and a muffin. The shower head was broken and the water never made it to hot. Just warm enough to heat you up but barely.

The hotel is just stinky and feels dirty. The pool is not clean either. The water in the pool is green. Overall, it was affordable but they could have done better in their cleaning as well as the overall aesthetic of the rooms.

I don't think the manager is checking this place

Desk clerk frequently not there. Smell in hall of dog p**p. Murky pool. Biggest offence was the "grab and go" brown bag breakfast. I don't even know where to begin with it. Processed prepackaged food in paper bag with no spoon or milk to use for cereal. Just bizarre.

The king size bed room was great, updated and clean. There was only a thin blanket on bed. Liked that there was a sink inside and outside bathroom. Downstairs hallway reaked of wet dog. Pool was too cloudy to swim in it, breakfast wasn’t provided. It was during a major snowstorm so they were likely short staffed. But we booked for pool and included breakfast. That was disappointing. Price was good, room nice, everything else poor.

Staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was quiet and seemed to have few customers. Unfortunately, there was a pungent smell in the hallway that lasted for our entire stay, and the pool appeared green. Fine for a short stay.

There is no continental breakfast as advertised. The hotel supplied a brown bag breakfast. No milk for the cereal in the bag and no bowl for the instant oatmeal either. The yogurt was warm and nobody intentionally buys Nature Valley granola bars unless they sell vacuum cleaners.

The first night stay, the toilet moved when sitting on it. The room wasn't in the best condition. Paint peeling off the bathroom door. The second night we stayed, the toilet was lopsided. The rooms could use some work. The employees were great, and we loved that the continental breakfast was given to us to take back to our room.
