I really wanted to like this resort as I visit SPI yearly, but I can’t after my stay. I do want to start off by saying the staff that checked us in (Mark and another young lady) were very polite and welcoming. It was my birthday / anniversary celebration and mark ensured we had a great view. However, The condo was humid and there were ants. Ants on 2/3 couches. When we alerted staff we were told “we”ll let maintenance know”. Maintenance showed up with a spraying chemical that wasn’t safe for children. Well we brought our daughter along and that wasn’t going to work for us…. So we had to deal with the ants until we left. Overall, staff were polite and the pool was great. But the humid room and ants were a big no for us. We expected more from a “ Margaritaville establishment”.

The service was average. During our stay, the property was without water for an entire day. There was very little communication and no compensation reimbursed for the inconvenience. We actually left the property for the day because of the chaos around the property. We weren't sure if we would have water when we returned as there was no communication or update. It is a nice location and a short walk to the beach. The pool and swim up bar is the best reason to stay at this resort.

Definitely a place you have to stay at least once to say you did! However, don’t expect decent service anywhere throughout the hotel. The front desk staff is snarky and not willing to help you out with anything and service is so slow in the restaurant (we waited over 45 minutes every time we went and it wasn’t busy). Drinks were alright at the pool, but there were continuous amounts of children at the swim up bar. Housekeeping will only service your tool every third day and won’t do it unless it’s that third day. Beautiful location, wish the staff was better

The Landshark had terrible service and I got food poisoning from their fish. Staff was not helpful and did not answer or maintenance calls. Had to ask for towels and TP 3 or ,4 times before we finally got them

The location is perfect right on the beach. We loved the pool area and the swim up bar. The staff was great and friendly. The hotel was decorated really well and everything had a margaritaville touch. The drinks and food were good too

It was very quiet and clean, a wonderful place. Our room was right across from the elevators and we never heard a thing! Also, it is very close to the shuttle terminal that can take you around the island for free. The restaurant was delicious and the servers were great, so we don’t understand the negative reviews about the service. We would definitely stay there again!
