Enjoy all season fun at this wonderful 4 bed 2 bath log home located just minutes from Elk Mountain. The house sits on 36 secluded acres which include hiking trails! The home comfortably sleeps 12 and includes an open concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings. The exterior of the home features a pool and large furnished deck with a hot tub and grill. All features and amenities are reserved just for you. At night, enjoy making s’mores around the fire pit as well as use the telescope to look at the countless number of stars in the night sky. Whether you love hikes through nature, skiing or simply relaxing with family and friends you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience.

Other details to note:
-During winter months we highly suggest using a 4wd vehicle due to hazardous driving conditions from winter storms.

-Owners occasionally stay in an apartment down by the main road. This is to assist guests with any services that they may need(i.e. plowing in the winter, pool maintenance in the summer etc.) Guests have full privacy with the house being surrounded by acres of forest and 130+ yards away from the nearest building or house.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Enjoy the convenience of ski-in/ski-out access at this chalet, which also features an outdoor pool.

Great weekend away

We had a great weekend at this property. The house is adorable and the space was great to get family together. Only small flaw for our group was the spiral staircase as we had a number of small children who wanted to climb up and down most of the time there. Otherwise perfect time away with our group. Would absolutely recommend.

Great Family Ski Weekend

Awesome house and Awesome owners. Everything was as described and even better. Had our grown kids all in their mid to late 20s stay with us and their spouses. Total of eight people and there was plenty of room. My sister came up with her 2 teens Saturday night to ski Sunday and there was still plenty of room. Everyone loved the sports complex and was great while we waited out the high winds and snow to ski again. Everyone played Basketball, Softball, Golf, Family Dodgeball and just hanging out Hot tub was awesome after a day of skiing and Awesome open kitchen made for great family time around the kitchen table and also a great place to play games. TV was like ours at home and huge for movies and sports. Backyard was great and trails in the snow storm were enjoyed by everyone. Fire Pit was great for smores and hot dogs. Hosts were great and anything we needed they were right there to get us. Thank You for sharing your house with us. We would definitely stay here again. Thommy & JulieR

Elk ski weekend

Cozy cabin located close to Elk Mountain. Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 6 young kids. The place was very clean and there was a gift basket with wine and s’mores that was a very nice gesture. The hot tub was a life saver after a long day on the slopes. There is a heated full size gymnasium for the kids to run around in which was fantastic (You won’t find that with any other VRBO!) plenty of basketballs and footballs to throw around. Great mini vacation. We will be back!😎

Perfect House

Everything about this place was great. Spacious 4 bedroom house, hot tub, 15 min drive to Elk Mountain, pet friendly and even has its own huge private indoor gym. The gym has a full size basketball court, batting cage, exercise machines, football target net, and punching bag. The owners were extremely responsive. Would definitely return and recommend for families.
