La Casa del Guarda is an exclusive rural house in Sotosalbos, for ten people, less than an hour from Madrid and only a few metres from the church of San Miguel (12th century), considered one of the jewels of the Romanesque style in Segovia.
La Casa del Guarda (4* - CR40/765) is in the heart of Sotosalbos, a small village in Segovia with a rustic essence, with a noble past and a place of passage of the
Archpriest of Hita.
The two-storey house has 5 double bedrooms, 4 complete bathrooms (one adapted), spacious living room, dining room, open-plan kitchen, gallery with
views of the mountains, large windows, terrace-garden with barbecue and swimming pool at summer.
It is part of the network of rural houses of the Junta de Castilla y León and is located in the old house of the guard, of which some walls are preserved. This
wonderful house, built with local
materials such as stone, wood, white cement and terracotta.
